Statue by the sea: The Herring Eater

This statute or sculpture is part of a series called: SprookjesBeelden aan Zee or Fairytale Sculptures by the Sea, by artist Tom Otterness, which are exposed at Scheveningen beach in The Hague. Yes! The Hague (as many other places in the Netherlands) has a really nice coast line. After going to the beach and take advantage of this fantastic Spring weather, I took some really nice shots of the entire series, but I consider the Herring Eater one to be the best out of the lot for this travel theme.

    1. The light was pretty tricky, and I think that that was the best angle as well. A little to the left or a little bit to the right, I would have had people’s head and other things involved in the photo…

    1. Thank you for your kind and encouraging words, Tim 🙂 I think that the mixture of haze in the air and sun, made possible for the colours to be right… And also thank you for visiting Vero Supertramp 😀
