Natural monuments

Our geography has an impressive heritage highlighting dozens of natural monuments as this tablelands and this river. The natural monuments of this post are in Far-North Queensland. I got really surprised about the colours, they are just the way you see them due to the illumination. For me nature is a much more important monument than the one made by men, because it is vast and powerful, and we aren’t; nature also reminds us that we are just mere guests in this planet.

  1. beautiful colors and contrasts, especially love the rock formations and the way they reflect on the water. looks untouched and pristine… as if you where the first one ever there.

  2. These are so amazing. What a great take on this week’s challenge. Awesome photos. Well done! Definitely makes me feel like there’s more out there.
